Transmission Services

SPL Powerlines delivers high-impact energy infrastructure solutions across complex
and demanding environments. Our capabilities span the full lifecycle of large-scale

  • High Voltage Cable Installation: Expert deployment of HV systems up to 400kV, including integrated fibre optic networks for enhanced control and monitoring.
  • Foundation and Mast Construction: Engineering and erection of over 85 masts using approximately 4,500 tonnes of galvanised steel, tailored for both upper and lower section requirements.
  • Specialist Civil Engineering: Delivery of infrastructure in challenging terrain using advanced methods such as pile foundations, cableways, cranes, helicopters, and pole trees.
  • Project Integration and Delivery: End-to-end management of multi-year programmes, aligned with national decarbonisation strategies and designed to meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and robust project controls to ensure cost, schedule, and risk performance.

BESS & Renewables

  • Highly accurate Lidar Based Mapping System.
  • Can be vehicle mounted.
  • Fast data capture.
  • Gives high resolution data with a relative accuracy of +/-5mm and an absolute accuracy of +/-35mm.
  • Uses software and plant that SPL Powerlines already owns in order to create streamlined workflows to increase productivity.
