Powerlines is the overhead line systems specialist for standard and high-speed mainline rail routes. The group provides A-Z solutions, plans and installs infrastructure for new lines, extensions and expansions, and also modernises and services existing systems. International experience and flexibility in the selection of assembly teams and vehicle and equipment pools form the basis for successful project implementation. Powerlines is a system provider that offers international customers a comprehensive range of engineering service options. Powerlines’ engineering team comprises around 50 highly-specialised experts at the Forchheim, Langenhagen, Leipzig, Coatbridge, Derby and Glasgow bases.
Powerlines electrifies local mass transit and mainline infrastructure. In local mass transport, this involves electrifying infrastructure for trams, underground trains, urban trains and trolleybus systems. In mainline transport, the range of services includes standard railway lines and high-speed lines.
