Career: Bsc Hons - Mechanical Engineering & Business Studies Degree from Sheffield University, since 1995 held the position of Managing Director in a number of Large European Engineering Groups with Asian and US Subsidiaries, culminating in the role of Managing Director, Volker Rail UK Ltd from 2006 to 2010, responsible for the Rail Systems Business, comprising of 6 trading companies Volker Rail Plant Ltd / Volker Rail Power Ltd (Overhead Line) / Volker Rail Signalling Ltd / Volker Matrix Ltd (Distribution Business) / Volker Rail Track Projects & Welding Ltd / ALH Rail Coatings Ltd., since September 2012 Managing Director of SPL Powerlines UK Ltd., a member of the Institute of Directors and a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Career: After graduating from the Horn Commercial College studying Business Mangement from 1980 to 1986 he was then employed by Siemens AG Austria. Where he was commercial department manager for “Industrial Solutions and Services”. 2000 to 2005 then CFO for SIPRIN in Bratislava (subsidiary company from Siemens Bratislava), 2003 to 2007 CFO for a subsidiary company from Siemens Austria called “Siemens Industrial Services” where his role included outsourcing project works and restructuring of the business (e.g. VW Bratislava). 2005 to 2007 integration from ELIN EBG into Siemens AG Austria. February 2010 he was then employed by SPL Powerlines Austria as Integration manager for acquisition businesses and is now managing director for SPL Powerlines UK.
