Between 2009 and 2011 Head of Finance and Authorised Officer at ÖBB Technische Services GmbH and subsequently from 2012-2017 Group Working Capital Manager and Head of Master Data Management at ÖBB BCC GmbH. Career: After studying Electrical Engineering at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal, Michael Schattauer began his professional career at Fahrleitungsbau GmbH Essen, first as deputy head of department for project planning and statics for local traffic and then until 2003 as head of department for assembly of mainline railways. He then moved to Essener Verkehrs AG, where he worked as Head of Special Projects Railway Technology and Appointed Deputy Manager BOStrab (trade association). Between 2007 and 2011, Michael Schattauer was employed by Strabag Rail GmbH in Berlin and held the position of Managing Director Assembly. From 2012 he worked as Managing Director Sales and Technology at Goldschmidt Thermit Railservices GmbH in Essen. On 1.5.2018 Michael Schattauer has been appointed Managing Director of Powerlines Products.
